Antique KAREN HILL TRIBE (Thailand) ELEPHANT BELL on WOODEN STAND Very Detailed!

Description

This is an Antique Karen Hill Tribe (Thailand) Elephant Bell on a Wooden Stand that is rustic, primitive, detailed, and remarkable. And it sounds great, too! It rings out a lovely “D" note. The wooden handles protrude longer on one side to facilitate ringing. This lovely bell is from the estate of a teacher who lived and taught in Thailand for many years.
It stand measures approx. 9 3/4” tall x 8 1/4” wide x 4 1/4” deep and is made from
wood, hide, gauze-type material, and rattan. The bell, itself, measures approx. 6 3/4” tall x 4 1/2” wide x 3” deep and is made from cast bronze or some other non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal. I photographed the inside of the bell so you can see its texture, see photo #9.
This antique bell would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or collection, and would make a great gift, too! It would also make an interesting & decorative conversation piece. The pictures above show the condition of the actual item you will receive, as I don't use stock photography.
This antique bell is in very good condition, but it does show some expected wear consistent with age. It is old and it looks old! Upon very close inspection the strip of hide is more worn on one side, see photo #10. Basically, it looks as it does in the photos…
